Inspirational Wednesday, January 25th

Good Morning Beautiful People! Do you remember when you first met the guy/girl of your dreams? You were really excited about them. You made sure to be on your best behavior. You managed to keep up with their standards. Sometimes you two will be on the phone for hours until the other person fall asleep. You two talk about everything and nothing didn’t come between your relationship. People knew you were “in love” because you had this glow about yourself. When out with friends you always talk about this individual who you admire, adore, and love. Sometimes relationships begins to fade due to infatuation. Temporary feeling for that moment. Most of the time if they didn’t satisfy or meet your standards the love you once had begins to fade away. That’s how we do Christ. We love Jesus for that moment. We talk about Him when we are on fire for Him. Then we become “lukewarm”. You should be “hot” or “cold”. If you truly love God you will keep His commandments. You pretend that you love the Lord but all the time it’s so easy for you to sin. Every time you sin and I do mean willfully sin. There is a difference. It’s like a “slap in God face”. It’s time to get your fire back for Christ.
“”I know all the things you do, that you are neither hot nor cold. I wish that you were one or the other! But since you are like lukewarm water, neither hot nor cold, I will spit you out of my mouth! You say, ‘I am rich. I have everything I want. I don’t need a thing!’ And you don’t realize that you are wretched and miserable and poor and blind and naked.” Revelations 3:15-17 NLT
